Tee Ball Frequently Asked Questions

When does the Tee Ball season start and end?

The Spring season typically runs from early April through early June, and the Fall season runs from early September through late October. Exact dates may vary depending on weather and field availability.

How long are games and practices?

Games and practices usually last 45 minutes to 1 hour. There is no inning limit—more innings are played as the season and players progress.

Who sets the schedule?

Schedules are created by each team’s coaches and depend on their availability, field permits, and when teams are formed. Once teams are set, families must download the GameChanger app for all team communication and schedule updates.

What equipment does my player need?

Players will need a glove, batting helmet, and an age-appropriate bat. Cleats (no metal) are recommended. The league can provide baseball pants and navy blue socks if needed.

Do boys and girls play together?

Yes! Tee Ball is co-ed, and boys and girls play together on the same teams.

Can I request a specific coach or teammate?

You can add requests during registration, and we do our best to accommodate them—especially for Tee Ball, where many players are just starting out.

Do parents have to volunteer?

Parent help is expected and essential to keep players safe and ensure practices and games run smoothly. Baseball knowledge is not required—assist with batting order, guiding base runners, and helping players stay focused and engaged.

What happens if a game is rained out?

Coaches will notify families of cancellations due to weather. Make-up games are scheduled when possible based on field availability.

How do jerseys work?

Spring registration fees have been decreased this year to help keep costs reasonable for families.

Players will need to purchase two jerseys: a white home jersey and a navy blue away jersey. Please include your player's name (first or last) and choose a number—the name and number you provide will appear on both jerseys.

Numbers are First Come, First Serve! If you have a favorite number, order your jerseys early.

Your player will keep these jerseys for future seasons as long as they remain in good condition and fit. This helps families save money long-term by reducing repeat jersey purchases.

If you have any sizing questions or need help choosing a number, please reach out to us. Jerseys are ordered through GearUp with Us.

Players should also have grey pants and navy blue socks. The league has a limited supply available upon request.
